7 Days Annapurna Circuit Trek Details

The classical trekking route of Annapurna has been popular for over a century. This traditional route that circles the most beautiful mountain in the world, Mount Annapurna, with rich cultural experience and stunning natural beauty, welcomes hundreds of tourists yearly. Adventure seekers back in 1900 used to complete this complicated Annapurna Circuit Trek 7-day circuit in about 35 days and experience the utmost form of adventure. Thanks to the road network development in the Annapurna route, the trip is now completed in less than a week from Kathmandu. The road network has made the journey shorter, achievable, and affordable for beginner trekkers.

The paradise land of Manang is still a restricted region that needs a special permit for travel. The untouched natural beauty, stunning views of the mountains (3 peaks over 8000 meters and dozens more above 6000m)

As per this 7-day Annapurna Circuit Trek, we will first drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar and then to Chame. From Chame, we trekked for two days to Manang and rested for one day to experience the Upper Pisang's beauty. Then, the plan is to cross the Throng Pass, the trip's highest point, to enter the Mustang district. Here, we explore Muktinath and Jomsom before flying/driving to Pokhara and then to Kathmandu.

Best Time for 7 Days Annapurna Circuit Trek

Autumn can be the best time for completing the  Annapurna Circuit Trek 7 days, as it shows the best views of the mountains in Nepal. September, October, and November have clear views, warm weather, less rainfall, and a pleasing environment. However, the route may be crowded during this time of the year. Another preferred time is spring, March, April, and May. Spring is the peak season for mountain climbers because the mountains have less snow, and the temperature is warm. It's also a colorful month with lots of Rhododendron, but the views might be blocked in the evenings.

To know more about the Annapurna region and useful tips for exploring it, look at the guide for Annapurna Circuit Trek.

Best Things to see on the Trail

The views of mountains such as Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Macchapuchre, Lamjung, and more on the premises make everything very magical on the Annapurna Circuit Trek for seven days. The stunning landscape of Manang and Mustang, with colorful vegetation of rare orange, brown, and green, is the big perk. Along the Annapurna National Park, you might also encounter rare and exciting mammals such as Yak, Chuari, Himalayan Thar, Laungur Monkey, Red Panda, Snow leopard, and more on the 7 Days ACT. Walking via the route crafted by regularly flowing rivers and cascading waterfalls is beautiful. The classical villages, their people, and monasteries along the way to Annapurna Circuit also excite everyone.

In case you want to see more and explore the Annapurna region more deeply, the ACT with Tilicho Lake package can be the best for you.

7 Days Annapurna Circuit Trek Difficulty

Annapurna Circuit Trek difficulty is graded as a moderately to difficult trekking route in Nepal. As Breeze Adventure has prepared this short and comfortable Annapurna trek, it is more manageable for beginners and people with low levels of physical fitness. The hardest part of this 7-day ACT was crossing Thorang La Pass at 546 meters. At this height, the cases of altitude sickness might make things difficult. The remaining trekking days of Annapurna Circuit are quite fun and exciting without much difficulty.

If you are a beginner, take it slow and follow a more elongated itinerary like a 12 or 10-day Annapurna Circuit Trek journey.

7 Days Annapurna Circuit Cost

A 7-day Annapurna circuit costs about $800 without any domestic flight. If you take a flight from Jomsom to Pokhara or Pokhara to Kathmandu, the trip cost is a bit higher. Normally, you pay about $10 per day per room, $30 per day for accommodation, and about $40 per day for guides and porters. The remaining is the cost of transportation (depending upon the mode) and permit charges of $50. Long Annapurna circuit trek can cost up to $3000 depending upon the itinerary and transportation. You can calculate the average cost of the 7-day Annapurna Circuit Trek yourself.

Essential Permits for the 7-Day Annapurna Circuit Trek

Talking about the permits necessary for your 7-day ACT, there are two primary requirements. The first one is your Trekkers' Information Management System (TIMS) card which you can not miss while traveling in most of the popular trials in Nepal. You must have this as it's for your safety only. The next permit for this trip is the Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) card which contributes to preserving the beauty and standard of our Annapurna region. Do not ignore these permits as you might be fined or denied entry at checkpoints along the route.

  • Incredible ACT Trek with the Safest Team

I recently completed the 7-day Annapurna Circuit with Breeze Adventure, and I can't praise them enough. The scenery was unbelievable, but what stood out was how safe we felt the entire time. Every group had a tank of oxygen — something I didn’t see with any other company. That small but crucial touch gave our group a lot of peace of mind. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and always one step ahead.

  • Well-organized and Extremely Thoughtful Service

Breeze Adventure exceeded our expectations. From the start, everything was so well-organized. The guide explained every section of the trek, and the porters were kind and respectful. What made them stand out? Each group had an oxygen tank. It might sound small, but at high altitude, it’s a huge deal. I didn’t see this kind of care with other groups on the trail.
