    Our journey to Bhutan begins with a short and scenic flight from and to Paro. In clear weather, you can see the Panoramic view of Himalayan ranges including Mount Everest itself (the tallest mountain in the world). In a short while, you will land in a small yet very beautiful airport in Paro. This is the only international airport in Bhutan.

    After welcoming you over to the airport, we will drive you to the hotel. We will start our tour as we explore the National Museum in Paro that used to be a watchtower from Rimpung Dzong. From this point, we enjoy an amazing view of Paro and Dzong that was built around 1645 A.D.

    On the second day, we will drive from Paro to Thimpu through a mountain road. Thimpu, the capital city of Bhutan has so many amazing places to visit. First, we visit the memorial Chorten built-in in the memory of the third king and then explore National Library. We can visit an old library to observe ancient manuscripts. Also, we explore the painting schools where exotic collections of traditional Thanka Paintings are displayed. In the evening, you can do some souvenir shopping over handicrafts Emporium.

    Today, we will travel to the town of Punakha that once used to be the capital of Bhutan. About three hours of drive from Paro through the thick forest and the narrow road takes you to Dochu La Pass at 10,000 feet (3,050m). Here, the spectacular mountain vistas will greet you with a beautiful grin. Then we continue driving down to the Punakha Valley, visit the impressive Punakha Dzong which is among the best places to visit in Nepal. We can also hike to Chimi Lhakhang temple or just visit the local market and join an evening prayer ceremony at the nunnery.
