    The tour starts with a scenic flight to Paro Valley of Bhutan. As the valley approaches closer, the small houses, beautiful landscape, and unique vegetation will mesmerize you.

    You'll be welcomed by our team at the Airport. Then, we will have some rest before hitting the amazing winding road to Thimpu, the capital of Bhutan. This hour and a half journey is going to be one of some amazing drives of your life. Then, we will spend the day exploring some places around our hotel and trying Bhutanese cuisine.

    Today we'll delve deeper into the culture and architecture of Thimphu. We will explore the art workshops and museums, convents and monasteries, the weekend market, Memorial Chorten, the Great Buddha Dordenma statue, and other places we can visit.

    After lunch, we will drive to the city of Punakha for three hours away. We'll drive through the thick sub-tropical forest as the road climbs gently up to the Dochu La Pass at 3,050m. After enjoying a spectacular view of mountain vistas, we drive down to Punakha Valley. Phuakha is the former capital of Bhutan and carries the history of this beautiful nation. Later in the afternoon, you can visit the market in town and join an evening prayer ceremony at the nunnery.

    In the morning, we take a short easy hike to Chimi Lhakhang temple dedicated to the quirky Buddhist leader Drukpa Kunley. After exploring this so-called, "fertility temple," we visit Punakha Dzong, an architectural masterpiece situated at the intersection of two rivers. Then we drive back through the Dochu La Pass for the view of Himalayan peaks along the Tibetan border. For a better view, we can go to Lungchutse Lhakhang that is 500m above the Dochu La Pass. This is about two hours of trek to Lungchutse temple. After climbing down, we will drive back to Paro for the night.

    This morning we'll embark upon a full-day walk to the iconic Paro Taktsang (also called the Tiger's Nest Monastery). This17th century temple complex is nestled creatively into the mountainside. We need to climb up a somewhat steep path for three hours. You can also take a horse ride and avoid the walk. From the top, you get to have an amazing view of the Paro Valley. We can stop at Bhutan's oldest temple, Khyichu Lhakhang, and have some rest before climbing down. In the evening, we will share our experience and enjoy the lovely farewell dinner with your guide.
