On the first day, your journey kicks off with a scenic 3-hour jeep drive from Pokhara to Jhinu Danda. This is the gateway to the sanctuary. After a quick lunch, you’ll start your trek by crossing one of the longest suspension bridges in the region. The trail then involves a steep stone staircase climb to the beautiful Gurung village of Chhomrong. This is followed by a descent and another climb to Sinuwa.

Coming to the main highlight today, the first is a close-up view of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and Annapurna South. Kindly take pictures and create precious memories. For food, most teahouses serve the "trekker’s fuel," Dal Bhat (lentil soup and rice). You can also have pasta or pancakes. You'll spend your first night in a cozy teahouse or guesthouse in Sinuwa (2,340m). Interestingly, the place is surrounded by lush forests, and you will surely enjoy it.

From there, the valley opens up into the "Sanctuary." You'll stop at Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) for lunch before the final 2-hour push to ABC (4,130m). You’re now standing in a glacial bowl surrounded by 7,000m and 8,000m peaks.

You are very lucky to experience the 360-degree views of the Annapurna Massif and Machhapuchhre. This is no less than a heavenly moment. Enjoy every bit and capture the moments on your device. This is certainly a moment of boast.
