 did the Short version of the Gokyo Lakes trek in June 2021. I was very lucky with the flight to Lukla-Kathmandu. The trail to Gokyo Lakes was so peaceful! All the trail was mine and the Himalayas too! The first week of June is the monsoon starting period in Nepal so I had to deal with the rain for 2 days but it was fun! I loved the wild Himalayan views and Gokyo lakes. 

Thank you to our guides Ngwa Sherpa and porter Dawa. To be honest, I had the best time in the Himalayas. The trekking was a bit difficult without having the acclimatization days but as I had been to 4500m in the past helped me a lot. If you do have no previous high-altitude trekking experience, I recommend having day acclimatization at Namche Bazaar.

I recently completed the Pikey Peak trek in 5 days, and it was by far my best and easiest adventure in Nepal.

Trekking in November meant crisp, clear weather and sharp views of the Himalayas. Each day the scenery got more dramatic—jagged peaks, glacial rivers, and prayer flags fluttering in the wind. I appreciated the quieter trails and peaceful teahouses. The team handled every detail so well; I never once worried about logistics. The moment we reached Base Camp, I cried tears of joy. It was beautiful beyond words. Returning by helicopter was like reliving the journey in reverse, only from the sky. Seeing Everest and the Khumbu region from above was awe-inspiring. I’ve traveled a lot, but this was unmatched.

Trekking the Annapurna Circuit solo in November was an incredible experience. The weather was crisp and clear, perfect for hiking through diverse landscapes. I appreciated the solitude and peace the trek offered, allowing me to reflect and connect with nature. The route was well-marked and safe, with plenty of teahouses for rest and nourishment. Meeting fellow trekkers along the way created a sense of camaraderie. The ascent to Thorong La Pass was tough, but the views at the top made it all worthwhile. Solo trekking gave me the freedom to explore at my own pace, and I returned with a sense of accomplishment and inner peace.

I can’t praise Breeze Adventure enough. From start to finish, they were professional, warm, and knowledgeable. Our guide managed altitude and pacing perfectly. The porters were absolute heroes—always smiling and encouraging. Meals were simple but hearty, and accommodations were the best available in this remote area. Even during a sudden snowstorm near Cheram, the team stayed calm and handled it all. Their deep knowledge of the region’s culture and nature added so much depth to the trip. I felt completely safe and cared for. This isn’t just a trek—it’s a life experience, and they made it unforgettable.
