The food at higher altitudes costs around $6-$10 per meal and the cost of the room is $5 per night on average. 

Now add the cost of the Permit (which is usually less than $50), guide and porter ($25 each/day), and transportation cost. The longer you stay, the higher you pay. Also, some region like Annapurna is relatively cheaper than Everest. Camping trek cost almost twice in comparison to the tea house trek.
