Overview
Come see the most magnificent mountain range in the entire world by our well designed Everest Helicopter Tour! Lock eyes with Mount
Everest (8848 meters/29,029 feet), the tallest mountain in the world, within moments of
waking up in your hotel in Kathmandu. Soar over valleys, terraced hillsides, and above the
clouds to reach the unbelievable Khumbu (Everest) region of Nepal.
To trek Everest region is a beautiful indulgence into unspoiled mountain territory. However,
this can take weeks and most people visiting Nepal do not have the time to have such
experience. But, the Everest region is not to be missed on a visit! Therefore, we have the
perfect Everest Helicopter Tour package, lasting less than a few hours to bring you to the Everest region. In fact, you will
be able to land at Everest Base Camp, the launching point for summit expeditions.
After an early morning wakeup call, we head to the Kathmandu Domestic Airport. We head out
and up above cities, villages, and Nepal’s unique topography. The helicopter swivels around
ridges to get a bird’s eye view of the mountains, a perspective that even Everest summiteers do
not have the privilege of. The scenery changes so quickly that with a blink of an eye, you might
miss something! Look down and see colossal glaciers, pristine alpine lakes, and mountaintop
Sherpa villages. Set your sights on Mt. Everest (8848/29,029 meters), Makalu (8481 meters/
27,825 feet), Cho Oyu (8201 meters/26,906 feet), Ama Dablam (6812 meters/22,349 feet), and
countless other breathtaking peaks. The passengers of the helicopter have a smile on their face
throughout the ride.
We disembark from the helicopter at Everest Base Camp and see the settlement of tents, full of
mountaineers preparing for their Everest ascent. From here, we can also see the infamous
Khumbu Icefall. Take your time and snap as many photos as you desire; this is a once-in-a-
lifetime opportunity. You’ll feel the special energy of the place as soon as you hop off the
aircraft. It has a lot of history attached to it, not to mention it’s one of the most beautiful places
in the world.
Then, we fly over Kala Patthar (5643m) and begin our descent. Everyone gets a window seat
on the helicopter ride, so you have your own personal view of the mountains. We arrive back
to Kathmandu between 10am and 11am, and transfer you to the hotel to spend the rest of the
day freely.
You can take our Everest Base Camp Heli Tour all throughout the year, but it is recommended
to fly during the spring and fall, as these seasons provide the most suitable weather. In the
spring, you can see the lush, blooming forests down below, while in the fall, the skies are most
clear. Winter always brings the chance of snow storms, and therefore flight cancellations.
Breeze Adventure takes care of all the logistics involved in this day tour package. Please do not
hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We are happy to answer them!
