Short Version Gokyo Lakes Trek in 2021.

I did the Short version of the Gokyo Lakes trek in June 2021. I was very lucky with the flight to Lukla-Kathmandu. The trail to Gokyo Lakes was so peaceful! All the trail was mine and the Himalayas too! The first week of June is the monsoon starting period in Nepal so I had to deal with the rain for 2 days but it was fun! I loved the wild Himalayan views and Gokyo lakes. 

Thank you to our guides Ngwa Sherpa and porter Dawa. To be honest, I had the best time in the Himalayas. The trekking was a bit difficult without having the acclimatization days but as I had been to 4500m in the past helped me a lot. If you do have not previous high-altitude trekking experience, I recommend having day acclimatization at Namche Bazaar.
